Q: What is The Babysitters Club?
A: The Babysitters Club is 1) A blog where you can get previews of great babysitters and families, read interesting articles, and check out cool favorites, and 2) An actual network that you can sign up to be a part of, to get in touch with wonderful babysitters and/or families.
Q: How do I become a Member?
A: To sign up to be a member of The Babysitters Club is soo einfach! Follow these five steps:
1.) Select a payment option that suits you or your family best and follow steps to pay
2.) Please allow one business day for orders to process
3.) Look to your right, yes right now, and click on the link under Sign Up Here
4.) Go to the BSC network enter your email address and name and sign up...easy enough right?
5.) Once the Babysitters club receives membership request and ensures that payment is confirmed, membership is accepted and you are free to to begin your search on the Babysitters Club Network!
Q: Will The Babysitters Club choose a babysitter for me?
A: Yes and No. 1.)Yes, The Babysitters Club will choose a babysitter for you for a one time fee of 130€, tell us what you want and we will do the work for you. 2.) We'd rather not. We encourage all of our members to join The Babysitters Club network, look at profiles and photos of each member, and make your own expert decision(s).
Q: How much does it cost to be a member?
A: We offer month to month, 3, 6, and 12 month memberships for families and babysitters.

Q: Why should I get a 3 month membership, when I could find a babysitter/or family in one month?
A: Because here at the babysitters club we think it's important to remain a member for as long as possible so you always have the option to expand or minimize your network. Each week new babysitters and families are registering, so this month you may have found the perfect babysitter, but what happens when they're unavailable? You may have found the perfect family, but what happens when their needs decrease? We think that 3-6 months allows for you to have trial periods with babysitters and families, choosing the one(s) that best suit your needs. We could be wrong but have a feeling we're right.
Q: Does The Babysitters Club screen all of it's babysitters?
A: The Babysitters Club requires a resume from all of our babysitters with at least two references from previous families, that we personally call to try to ensure babysitters are trustworthy and responsible. However it is still up to each family to check references, conduct interviews, and do anything else that you think important before you hire a babysitter.
Q: What if I need a nanny? and a tutor? and a dog walker?
A: That shouldn't be a problem. Here at The Babysitters Club, our main goal is to put quality families and babysitters in touch with each other. The specifics of a families needs or a babysitters services depends entirely on each individual. Once you become a member of the network you are free to browse and find a family or a babysitter (nanny, tutor, or dog walker) who suits your needs.
Q: I've been a member of the BSC network for 6 months and have a wonderful group of sitters...now what?
A: We're so happy for you and that means we've done a good job! So now the choice is up to you, you can discontinue your membership by sending an email to us at thebabysittersclubde@gmail.com 3 weeks before your desired end date. We will discontinue your membership and at that time you will no longer be able to access the network. HOWEVER...we encourage you to still visit us at the blog for updates and other interesting information!
Q: Does The Babysitters Club require families to pay babysitters a minimum or maximum wage?
A: We feel very strongly about babysittiers recieving a livable, working wage. After all, we all know the cost of living. However we don't require families to pay babysitters a minimum wage dictated by us. All pay concerns should be handled between babysitters and families. Please be considerate and fair.
